Great movie review. Love reading a good critique from someone who isn’t more invested in kissing their subjects’ bottoms, than conveying an honest opinion.

Your favorite drink may be similar to Brazilian caipirina made with. Cachaca and muggled lime.

Ethan sent me (he actually said something like "you bug me; bug someone else"): I promoted a band called Stone Fox who were friends of friends of Linda Perry. So when I met Elmore Leonard I started to riff on Stone Fox versus "Stone Ponys" or what not and he wrote "be careful" in my copy of his book. (Linda Perry, for her part, claimed the time I met her that we had met before; she said "I'm like Al Pacino - I never forget a face" but I was not sure she was talking about the actor or a character he played. Unless she said "Robert diNero" -- I have a type of dyslexia that confuses DiNero and Pacino)

Stone Coyotes, not "'Stone Ponys' or what not"; and the SF Stone Fox were three bad ass women with a dude drummer not to be confused with Shannon and Spence Koehler pka Stone Foxes years later.

When I met Joe Gores and told him my tale of being burglarized - -I lost by 1934 Goudy Gehrig for example -- he wrote "grab a sword and take some heads" which was potentially metaphorical. I suggested Joe Gore do some music based on Joe Gores. That how I role with a little thingy over the o to be more French-like or literal not figurative.
