It just happens I too, recently re-watched The Hudsucker Proxy and Inside Llewyn Davis. Love them both, and Miller's Crossing is on my top 5 all time fave movie list. I was going to watch a lot of movies during the next four years ANYWAY, and now it'll probably be even more. But I promise, come 2028, I will vote, and [sigh] I'll definitely KNOW WHO'S RUNNING!
I'm with you part of the way on the Coen Brothers: I never got into Hail Caesar! and Burn After Reading lost me at the same time Brad Pitt left. I guess I should have another look at those, since I enjoyed Hudsucker ("You know - for kids!") and Llewyn Davis - Miller's Crossing is my favorite movie.
Thank you so much, Vince, for those very kind words about SECRET DEAD MEN! So happy you're digging it.
Great to have this new edition out so I can complete the collection.
Now, I want to re-watch all those Coen Brothers movies!
Plus The Big Lebowski! :)
Thanks for the tip about the Silent Hour!

Your observations are dead on. But I won't sit through Inside again for all the tea in China.
Yeah, Inside can be a tough sit. But I'm glad to revisit it every few years. Maybe in 2030-something.
Great Onion headline 🤣🤣
And the article itself is note-perfect.
